Q - What is pointillism?
A - A technique realized by French post impressionist artist Georges Pierre Seurat where small dots of color are painted to create an image. The technique, however tedious in execution does establish unique textures on the canvas allowing the eye to blend color relative to the distance the artwork is viewed.
