Q - How do I blend graphite pencil in my drawings?

A - Basic techniques used in blending graphite include the use of a tortillion for blending. Another method is the use of a soft cotton cloth which gives a very even blend which is great if realism is important. A more textural technique is the use of drawing light value, straight lines and building up the value with layering.
