What is a vertigo effect?

Today's Q and A

Q - What is a vertigo effect?

A - A vertigo effect is an interesting effect where the camera is moved backward from the subject  being filmed while the lens is zoomed in on the subject. The resulting effect creates an odd sense of motion or a vertigo effect (hence the name), in the resulting shot.
