Q - What is soft lighting?
A - Soft lighting is the use of lighting without definitive or hard edges as in hard lighting, and tends to have diffused edges. Soft lighting uses a value gradient effect, going from dark to light. Soft light finds it way into many mediums and media from photography, film, and art.
