A - Finger painting is the use of your hands and fingers dipped into the paint onto paper to create art with. Finger painting is usually associated with art created by children. Most finger paint uses tempera paints as the medium. The use of fingers to paint with, however, is also a common technique used by many artists in a variety of mediums including oils, and watercolors
