Q - What is digital art?
A - Digital art is the rendering of images through the use of a computer and software paint or drawing programs or applications. One of the more popular software programs that were included to early computers dating back to the mid 1980's. Computer art has been become more sophisticated over the years allowing for a wide range of tools for artists to create with including layering, image effects, various brush simulations, color transparency, color blending, 3 dimensional rendering, vector graphics and computer assisted renderings and so on. Digital art programs have made it easier for non artists to create art as well. The use of digital art has become an intergral part of the media, internet and entertainment industries.
