Q - What are the most widely used art brushes?
A - The most popular brushes used by artists are round brushes and flat brushes. A lot of artists do seem to have a preference. Flat brushes tend to be used more for angled shapes such as in landscapes or cityscapes. Round brushes tend to go with curved shapes and are great for portraits, but can work well for many differing types of paintings.
