Q - What is lifting technique?
A - A technique common to watercolor and acrylic painting where wet paint is removed or lifted from the paper by the use of a soft cloth or paper towel, used to lighten the area desired. Lifting can be used to create clouds shapes for example, or to remove excess paint.
