Today's Q and A
Q - What is gesso?
A - Gesso is an acrylic based medium that is used to prep art canvas or paper for oils and acrylic paints. Usually, gesso comes in white and is a thick or gel like substance. Gesso can also be used to create texture on canvas if applied heavily. Watercolorists can use gesso to create textural effects on watercolor paper as well.
