A - A line is a straight or curved stroke or such indication in art. Line art is a popular form of art relying on simple lines without shading to render an object or figure. Boredom in line drawing can be remedied by altering the thickness of the line - as often done in cartooning, or changing the value of light or darkness of the line as well.
