Today's Art Q and A
Q - What qualities make for a good pencil for drawing?
A - Some basic qualities that are needed for an effortless experience wth pencils include good quality graphic lead that can resist breakage. Many pencils have too much binder in the lead causing a scratchy feel to them on paper. A nice smooth lead will be more consistent , smoother and offer sharp lines that will make your drawings look better overall. Lastly, cedar wood pencils are recommended to help avoid breakage of the graphite lead.
