Q - What is the Hudson River School?

A - The Hudson River School refers to a group of 19th century landscape artists who created art depicting the Hudson River and surrounding areas in the Eastern United States.  Their style was somewhat impressionistic, rendering wide, colorful landscapes influenced  by Romanticism and the inspiration of their subject matter.
