Q - What is "lifting" technique in art?
A - Lifting technique is where an area of paint on the painting is removed while still wet. A cloth, art brush, or similar is used to remove paint. Usually, the the technique is to allow for the white of the paper to show through or to correct spots, drips or indications that are unwanted .
