Q - What is pouring technique in art?

A - Pouring in art is most common in acrylic and watercolors and it can be refered to as fluid art. The idea being that paint is applied through pouring or splattering color onto the paper or canvas. The main objective is to allow the paint to blend on its own or with the help of gravity in creating interest. It can be combined with the use of resist to save areas of the paper for further rendering or enhancement.
