Q - Who played Oddjob in Goldfinger?

A - One of the most popular villain characters in the James Bond franchise was Oddjob who was played by Japanese/American actor and wrestler Harold Sakata. The character of Oddjob was first debuted in the 1959 novel "Goldfinger" and later in the 1964 movie. Harold Sakata also voiced the character in a later animated Bond series and contributed to James Bond video games. While he had no real acting experience Bond producers Harry Saltzman and Albert Broccolli found him to be the perfect fit for the Oddjob character. Sakata, was also a weightlifter and won a silver metal in the 1948 summer Olympic Games His stature and formidable look helped him to land the role of Oddjob.
