Q - What are the uses of a mop brush?
A - Mop brushes are most commonly used in watercolor to cover large areas with paint or to simply apply water to a wide area of the paper. They can also be used to create even, flat glazes if the mop brush is somewhat smaller. In oils or acrylic paint, mop brushes can also be used as a soft blending tool for example in creating a soft look to clouds and sky.
