Q - What is the best paper to use for drawing?
A - A lot depends on your purpose for drawing. If you are just doing an everyday sketch for practice a lower grade lighter weight drawing paper will be good enough. If you are creating a serious drawing be it portrait, landscape or still life upgrading the quality of your paper is a good idea. Drawing pads come in a variety of weights, textures, and sizes. Experiment with different manufactures to find a good balance between quality and expense.
