Q - What is a liner brush?
A - A liner brush is a thin, long, round brush used to create lines and is commonly used in watercolor or acrylic painting. The advantage of a longer brush is that it can hold more water and paint and therefore can create long lines without having to constantly reload the brush with paint. Also known as a rigger brush known for creating mast lines and rigging on ships. In choosing a liner reemerge that the thicker the brush the wider the lines will be, and very thin liner brushes will give you thin lines.
